Sometimes you get lucky, like Bruce Marler did with Credit.club and it was a registry snafu, and other times you get lucky where someone prices a domain way too cheaply.

On the Sedo report yesterday it was reported that ZFE.com sold for 1,999 Euros or $2,274. I thought this may be an IDN or they left off a letter but Carolyn got back to me this morning and said it was a legitimate LLL.com sale.

There could be some other "Behind-The-Scenes" (BTS) purchase which could top this one as being a best-buy for the year. It may have happened already, or is still to happen... I guess we just wouldn't know.

But definitely a good price for the domain.

Yeah NS I was just trying to write an interesting headline, Its why I only put in the running. this looks like a German company owned it probably not domainers, looked to sell since their business is photography and someone recommended Sedo. A couple people thought too good to be true must be stolen.

The guy who bought is not using privacy at Go Daddy owns some decent domain names, Labyrinth.com Bore.com CranberryJuice.com.

Gee, I thought the "... domain after market on fire!" as is hyped on a regular basis from certain domain "news" site(s). Were they BS'ing us with such headlines?

Lots of domains are bought on the cheap, illustrating lackluster performance in the market. The hype BS'ers would prefer not to highlight that aspect of the market, lest it affect the interest in their own respective portfolios.

Pump it up, pump it up, pump it up. Eventually, it might fly.

I think it is safe to say the domain aftermarket for the first 6 weeks of 2015 has been doing pretty well. I think Frank Schilling, Rick Schwartz Mike Berkens, Andrew Rosener they are well into orbit in 2015 way past regular flying. This domain was sold by someone who is not a domainer and a domainer jumped on it.The seller was a German entity in the photography business, with probably no understanding of the value of a three letter .com.

Makes you wonder if the value is dropping on some or this was just a setup to make it look like it. After all some big name domainers have bought setup deals before to make it look popular or a price fluctuation.
