Beginner Domain-er Trying to Learn!

Hello!

I've just recently joined this forum because of my interest in domains. I am appalled by the idea that I can make money with domains, but I'm just not too sure how. Most of the articles do not explain basic fundamentals that I need to follow to START engaging in domains.

So where do I start? What is the most ideal way to make money with domains (with low investment)? How do I find domains? How do I know what domains are worth purchasing? Where do I sell them.

These are just a couple of the many questions I have.

Browse and learn from Namepros forum. Ask a question in the beginners forum and you will get many replies from experienced domainsers.
Don't buy a domain without doing proper research. Check sales of similar domains at dnpric.es

Here is my advice for beginners:

1) Read Namepros for a year. Do not spend any $
2) Follow sales for a year. Do not spend any $
3) The fact that some people make big sales has nothing to do with you. 99.9% of us will not make big sales.
4) Be ready to lose a lot of money before you make some back.
5) Stay away from automatic appraisal tools.
6) Out of 100 domains you will probably manage to sell 3-4 after some time. If you are really good at this you will manage to sell 7-8. Factor in the expense you will have for the other 90+ and your time.
7) You have more chances of winning the lottery than you do of getting rich with domains.
