When r we gonna learn, the premium renewal is gpnna have to come out the closet at some stage - so lay it on out there for all to see - there is no mention that i can see of the $1000 ren4ewal.......

i do see a whole list of names the owner , from this forum, has added onto the list...worldcheaters.com.......

Or does the owner feel that now that there is a sedo warning - its fair to say buyer beware?????!!!!!!

Maybe so, but still, someone new to .TV will be taken to Enom's explaination page which leaves more questions than answers.....

Step up to the plate and name the renewal figure and there is no room for error..........

This seller is well known for using these tactics. Enom's brainless lack of response to this issue has created a haven for these scammers.

Why it god's name can't management figure out that this information needs to be accessible from ENOM'S WEBSITE?

Yep. We touched base on this couple months back and same person I believe.

He loves not being up front on this and is making .tv look bad and us if you ask me.

Greg has a vaid point as well but I blame owner 100 percent.

Fully agree and there are a few other premium tv's in auction (or just auctioned) as well without any mentioning of the premium price.

I have no clue other then that the seller is hoping the buyer will only find out about the premium price after he received the payment, very bad business practice indeed!

Chance on that is little anyway as Sedo asks about the renewal fee as the buyer needs to open an Enom account if it's premium, although a 'simple' .tv premium pricing system at Sedo would make things easier and clear for all of us.

There have been a few premium .tv's that went through auction recently and where the price was not mentioned, I'm just curious how long it takes before these premium names wil be up for sale again at Sedo.

I haven't been watching that many sedo auctions.

Curious John, sorry put you on spot but could you mention those names you have seen on sedo?

I believe bad.tv been on sedo before??

You're right. However, the entire premium system is operated by a corrupt enterprise that has devised yet another method to relieve unsuspecting domain investors of their hard-earned money.

Greg I hear what your saying and its a valid point and your thought process.

That can be another thread discussion.

Always a tough call on enom issue.

To all of the .tv Big Dogs...
This is a great bunch of people here (.tv NPers)
Very Influential.
I plan to ride your coat-tails to the top!
LOL
Millers...Great, & Very Responsible thread.
Some crap like that would have blind sided me.
One ques???
Once you do buy a Premium .tv,
can that premium pricetag raise at all?
Or is that yearly premium the same, forever?
I'm looking at a couple right now, that are a little steep,
but If its POSSIBLE for that re-newal price to go up...
Forget it.
Thank You

I love how you say this is all a evil corporate thing. How selling with out a premium notice is bad business practice. How sellers not listing are so called scamming.. Wow, amazing responses. Yet you keep investing, keep speculating.. Maybe use some logic before spending your money in random places. Heres another one, domaining is taking risk also a company may do what ever they wish with there product. Yet your the ones fueling all of this.

Well I never said this is all a evil CORPORATE thing - this is an individual who chooses to try and swindle people out of their money - no other way of putting it

I had three names this week on SEDO in auction PI.TV - clearly marked as a $500 premium - sold for $2730 ish, OMAN.TV clearly marked as a $1000 premium, sold for $560ish and WAIKIKI.TV - clearly marked as a $1000 premium and sold for $100 - the waikiki sale hurt like hell, but still felt right, which makes me feel good and the feeling stays for much longer than any short term gain from getting one up on others.........

this guy and others of his ilk give us all a BAD name and pressure should be brought to bear on these guys someway somehow to grow up and stop scamming or else ....... well whats wrong with banning scammers??

This was his choice in not listing fee. What's so wrong in being up front and honest.

Come on. You got to be kidding. I am sure 95 percent of .tv members and namepros members would agree. Be up front and honest.

How would you feel when your bidding up a name and you didn't know about a yearly fee on a prime name. Would you be pissed? Would you be happy with seller and hide the truth.

I agree that it's bad business practice not to mention the premium fee in a Sedo auction.

But the same can be said about dollars.tv which is currently on auction at Sedo without any mention of the $500 premium fee.

I think all sellers should be upfront about this, as every .tv buyer and seller will benefit from more transparency in the long run.

Would it be so hard for Sedo to slightly adapt the way in which .tv domains are listed ??

They could easily add a couple of new fields to the process.
1) Is this a premium renewal ?? Drop down menu with a choice of Yes or No
2) If this is a premium renewal, what is the annual renewal cost ?? Here would be a text field to enter the amount.

Its not exactly difficult to do this. And if the seller wants to try and bullsh*t about the domain being a premium and/or the renewal fee - then the buyer ( once he finds out about this ) would be allowed to back out of any deal. The seller should also be named and shamed at every possible opportunity as being a complete w*nker.

Again, just my thoughts.

Completely agreed.

Would definitely be a nice move by Sedo.
