You call it superior knowledge, I call it common sense.

Agree. Not everyone has the ability and command of the .tv extension like you do.

And since you like doing research on other members names and how many times they have offered it for sale, I did some research on your great .tv purchases; names like your :

Sniper.tv, knock.tv, hailey.tv,bambi.tv, leap.tv, Lurk.Tv, Voted.Tv, Hussy.tv, Daily Weather.Tv, Sportstream.TV, Hack.Tv, Toward.Tv, Knock.Tv, Oatmeal.Tv, Punked.Tv, LateShows.Tv Luther.Tv etc etc

If I was u, and thank God I am not, I would keep my mouth shut about other people's regges, when your supreme regges are so bad you couldnt pay me to take them.

Your appraisals and "superior" knowledge are a joke.

Ivory Coast which is a very average geo, sold at market value given how bad things have become with this extension. And yet it is still ten times better than all the crap you tried to sell here and then started auctions at minus five dollars and I must congratulate you on some of those sales which reached the giddy heights of 0 dollars.

At least I was in touch with the values of my names. Lol.

Being in touch wiith the value of your names says plenty about your ability to appraise domains, or do you actively seek out zero value names just for the fun of it?

I know a secret too.

Always read the fine print. IMO.

Disclaimer: Please keep in mind that this is a FREE appraisal. This is a guess at quick flip resale value not an unrealistic end-user price. Often times my appraisals are rushed, too low, or too high. Sometimes my advice is totally wrong and occasionally downright dumb. If the post stamp is after 5:00pm EST, the chances are even greater that inaccuracies will occur due to blood alcohol levels.

I think you need a disclaimer for your disclaimer. :p

Yes, or I could always take two weeks off from domaining... and then quit altogether.

From past experience I have found it does not pay to allow blood to mix with ones alcohol system. :gl:

i read the fine print. my point is why you did not use those free appraisals of yours when you regged absolute trash.

i am in agreement with most of your appraisals. they just lack any credibility whatsoever, when you give it. its the hypocrisy of it all. you own names that are worse, much worse than the domain appraisals telling people how crap they are.

one thing i have noticed, the people who do understand the ext, rarely give appraisals.

As to the alcohol, why wait till 5.00pm?

I'd say you chose the wrong names *if* you were looking for higher sales.

Don't blame the venues, blame your own name selection. IMHO

Agree. Wot needs to take it on the chin rather than arguing with everybody in this thread.

How is that hypocritical? Nobody can appraise names better than their own?

At least one of those domains you listed was purchased for $300 from a reseller so get your facts straight before saying they were all hand regs. At least I didn't flush 10K chasing a premium and then let it drop 12 months later.

I have never once said my appraisals were credible. They are probably more in the incredible range.

Now I thought all comments and rebuttals were handled amicably by all involved in this thread until you decided to chime in, or have you only read the parts of the thread that suit you :?

Yes, anyone can give appraisals better than their own, but those appraisals seem pretty hollow, if the person appraising decides to reg names of incredibly poor judgement.

Its like Bernie Madoff writing a weekly column from his jail cell advising investors of the most trustworthy money managers to put your hard earned money to grow for your retirement.

Now, for what its worth, I believe that Microguy is on the money with most of his appraisals recently. It is just the way his appraisals come across that suggest that he would never have regged such names.

Well he has, and alot of them are atrocious and of less value than those he is appraising in such a dismissive way.

And yes, he did do well in not touching premiums. There are people who have lost high five figures and more in both .tv and .mobi (more in .mobi), but how brilliant do you need to be to not lose so much money. Very few people indeed have the money to start out with to end up losing so much cash.

If thats the badge he wants to wear, then I wish him all the best

I just wandered in here. Who has an Ivory Coat for sale? Also, I can't find my keys.

I think one person has an Ivory Coat but should have, apparently bought a Coat d'Ivory

and another person has an Ivory Coat, but wants instead to have a Cloak d'Invisibility

Someone else has a I.P'ery Coat - but everyone can see their other coat underneath!!!!

It's all very confusing.

Will SaysWho just admit they shouldn't have left in the first place and get back to coming on this forum as who he really is - if he can that is!

Ah....the irrelevant analogy.......think about it for a minute, it is really nothing at all like that at all.

However it like the vast majority of domainers, who own not so great names and appraise others not so great names.

I don't think he was saying he did well, I think he was saying he didn't make as bit a blunder as some.
