Backordering question

I have been able to buy some expiring domains via backordering with godaddy. However, I have missed some as well. I don't think anyone paid up to $69.00 on name jet or snapnames as I did not see any bids. My question is does anyone have the "fastest" domain backordering or sniping site to buy expiring domains?

Thanks

Namejet and Snapnames are pretty much the best for backordering, IMHO. I have had success with Pheenix and DropCatch. These 4 are my 'go to' for backordering.

So to answer your question, i think the above 4, in that order, are the fastest.

The problem with namejet and snapnames is that they are $59 or $69 for a back order vs. $15.00 or $20.00 through godaddy. I have bought names through NJ and SN but only names I am confident they are worth much more than this high fee. Do they have a cheaper service that essentially snipes? I will check out pheenix and drop catch. Thanks for the ideas!

Pheenix is 19$. Dropcatch right now is in invite only phase, but if you get through, they charge 49$ or 50$, im not too sure.

Pheenix recommends freshdrop to check for expiring names. Pretty cool site with lots of domain data. One thing I noticed was "google fake PR" column. Do you use that? Is it OK to buy a name that has a fake PR rank?

Thanks

I tested Pheenix and Godaddy for deletes over the last few days. Ironically, Pheenix won one domain the first day and Godaddy won the second day. I prefer doing at godaddy due to low renewal rates for me and that's where most of mine are held for now.

When I did a race with Namejet, Pheenix and Godaddy...NameJet won the race as you suspected.

I found a good name worth probably high $xxx to low $x,xxx and one that wouldn't draw too much interest that I saw on the Whois would expire soon, paid the backorder on GoDaddy and the name expired, they said there was an error and I didn't get the name. -_- Do not use GoDaddy.
