Hi,

Just a quick question about backordering at Pool.com

If there is more than one person backordering the same domain it goes to an auction, correct?
So do they charge you the $60 if you go to the auction? some sites put your fee as a starting bid on the auction, is this what pool do?

Ive backordered a domain but dont want to pay more than the $60, so if it there is more than one person i might aswell back out if they are going to charge me the $60.

It's been a long time since I've used pool, but if memory serves, if you are the only one to back order the name, you get it for $60. If it goes to auction, the winning bid is the price paid while everyone else isn't charged for being in the auction.

Hope that made sense.

The domain I backordered is deleting on the 18th (Yesterday). It is still on my backordered list.

How long does it take before I know if I have got it or not? When does it become available for Pool to try and get? i thought it would have been yesterday

if you haqvent heard from pool for a domain that has deleted 24 hours ago, it means pool did not catch it.
SNapnames and others notify you of their success or failure, pool only notifies if they are successfull.

Hope this helps.
