Two questions on this offer :-

1. Should I try this, the reason being other services charge higher prices for backordering?

2. Will they keep their word and back order the domains or will it be the same as their domain registration service?

Did you know Nearly 85% of all domain names registered are not in use? Stop waiting and wondering when the name will become available. Let DropFly "grab" it for you when it becomes available. Our service is an affordable yet effective way to monitor and grab soon to drop names. We will monitor your names and will attempt to instantly grab it for you when it is deleted.

Benefits:

Includes 1 year of registration

Low risk, you can change the domain name being backordered at any time

Easy to use management interface

.com, .net, .org extensions supported

Direct Registry Access - Powerful multiple registrar solution

The general concesus on the forums seems to be don't go near Registerfly for anything. My own experience tells me they are at best a waste of time and money, at worst, crooks.

I have never dealt with them on backorders, so can't speak from experience on that side - just on getting ripped off trying to reg names. It doesn't matter how cheap they are if you don't get the names and they keep your money.

It's pretty useless. I did give it a shot a long time ago. It would not catch anything, even when the name was subsequently dropped by the taster. I even checked availability on regfly site just to trigger the backorder... nothing.
Now my available slot has disappeared from my account, which means I have paid for nothing. Well it was $17.
I would not even try it again. IMO keep your money, BTW I have never heard about anybody winning a name through regfly.

I've used them to try snapping up over 20 domains, possibly. Success rate: 0%. They refunded my account but only as credits.

Don't use them. Ever. Not even if you had a gun held up to your head.
