The new reg policy on PREMIUMS looks like you can ony reg for a year

eNom Central Registration Agreement
Additional Registry Requirements
These terms supercede any previous agreement you may have regarding your .TV domain registration. In addition to the terms set forth above, the following terms shall apply to registrants of .TV domain names. Premium .TV domains, shall be determined and designated Premium names by the Registry, and such Premium names are non-transferable to another registrar. Registration prices for Premium .TV domain names may vary. In addition, renewal prices for Premium .TV names may be different from the original registration price. The registration period for a .TV domain name is for one-year. Your registration of a domain name in the .TV top-level domain is subject to policies established or revised from time to time by the registry for such .TV domain name (".TV TLD Registry"), in its capacity as the registry for a .TV domain. The .TV's registry's current policies (".TV Registry Policies") are available for you to review at the registry web site. You agree to be bound by and comply with the applicable Registry Policies, including amendments and modifications thereto, with respect to your .TV domain Name registration. Such policies shall not alter the terms and conditions of this Agreement. To the extent there is a conflict between the Registry policies and the terms of this Agreement, the terms of this Service Agreement shall prevail. You agree that the .TV Registry has the right to enforce the .TV Registry Policies.

I think people should be very wary about what RRosenblatt and co have done. People should know that the following will continue to negatively affect the value of .TV:

1. the allowable registration for just one yr and no definitive answer as to what comes next...as an investor/developer how do you plan for the long haul;
2. the inability to transfer premiums to another registrar...what if the unthinkable happens to eNom and what about potential purchasers who for whatever reason would prefer not to deal with eNom;
3. the uncertainty regarding renewal fees...this has the same issue as (1) but also compounds the problem greatly;
4. the government of Tuvalu being an unknown element....confirmed by the extremely "fluid" arrangement being foisted on us.

I have quite a few Dot-TVs, believe in the brand and wanted to get at least a couple premiums but I honestly feel RRosenblatt and co are sticking it to domainers (once again and much like others have done in the very recent past).

RICHARD RosenBlatt is sticking no one, these policies are Verisigns. You have never been able to transfer Premium domains and it would not be possible since Verisign runs the registry. IF enom went under Verisign would go back to handling the retail side since they are running the registry in the first place. At the end of the day Versign has registry control over .tv like they do over .com and .net

Equity...thanks for replying. I did say RRosenblatt and co meaning everyone behind the re-launch. I see your clarification but we should agree that this is still a negative especially when viewed against other extensions. Plus the other points I raised are very valid.

Hey...just concerned about the value of my .TVs!
