As you guys may be aware dot com domains now require a domain auth code for transfer to another registrar. My current registrar (an onlinenic reseller ) is either incompetent/unscrupulous in that despite repeated requests over a week they will not provide me with the auth code. What course of action can I take? Should I complain to onlinenic or ICANN or verisign?

ICANN. Verisign cannot help you.
If your reseller is not responsive try to contact onlinenic direct and ask them to send the auth code to the admin E-mail for the domain (hope that it is yours in the whois).

Oh yes the admin email is mine. I can access the domain control panel even. They don't prevent that. Anyway I have complained to onlinenic. Thanks for your advice.
