Domain transfers - Where do I get the auth. code?

trying to transfer a .com from a godaddy reseller TO godaddy.

paid at godaddy.
got a transaction ID + security code.
followed everything perfectly...

entered above codes, THEN i was asked to enter the "authorization code?"
i assumed it was the same as the SECURITY CODE?

of course, it's not and the transfer failed.

so, i contact godaddy, they say: you need a NEW authorization code from the current registrar.

HOW/WHERE do i get this code?
is it in my account somewhere?
