Hey Folks,

I've just started using squadhelp.com to list some of my brandable. So far I have 76 domains listed, there is no fee to list. I've had some decent action so far in the way of interested buyers but no sales as of yet. I've only been with them for 1 week now.

A bit of a summary review of SquadHelp:

PROS

• No Listing fee
• No Logo design fee
• Ability to submit your names to end users holding naming contests
• Ability to chat directly or send a message directly to end users.
• Stats of your marketplace domains are shown in the marketplace dashboard.
• Their customer service and support has been great, 24hr a day chat.
• Ability to increase or decrease the list price of your domains or to show a discount. You can decrease or increase the price yourself by $200. If you want to lower more, you can contact support.
• End users can shortlist your domains before they make a decision on which they want to purchase. The number of shortlists is shown in you marketplace dashboard.
• When you submit your names you get to set the price you wish to get. Because their commissions are high I recommend listing at a higher price to offset the commission costs.
• Their landing pages are fairly basic but they work. Because the marketplace is fairly new, I'm sure we will see style improvements in the future.
• One thing I really like is they accept multiple extensions. I have listed .co and .io along with .com
• Each seller gets a direct link to their marketplace portfolio, HERES MY PORTFOLIO. It is handy if your trying to p[promote your portfolio through social media.
• I like that their marketplace doesn't have tens of thousands domain listings like BB. They are fairly strict on the domains they accept to list and so this helps keep the number of domains in the marketplace down and gets your listings more exposure.

CONS

• Their commissions are very high, depending on the domain name they are usually between 30% and 35%. However, there are no listing fees, no logo design fees, so in the end their commission is very similar to brand buckets.
• Their logos are not top quality, in fact I requested to have some of my logos remade.
• I think they have a big backlog of logos to design, the wait time for logo design has been around 1 week, but your names are still listed while the logos are being designed.
• After your names are accepted you need to agree to their commission rate, at this point you also need to apply your own keywords, descriptions etc. I found this was very time consuming.

Anyone got idea how long it may take for Atom registrar and edge launch?
And does it require 100+ domains to be registered with/ transferred to Atom or have 100+ domains listed for sale under your sellers account to be eligible for Edge membership?

Although sometimes I'm having to get creative with a few of the prompts, depending on the domain.

My advice is try playing about with the text in the "Are there any specific themes the icon in the logo should represent?" and "Any additional context or industry" sections and see if it makes a difference for you.

Imo it gets a little more creative if you ask it to place the logo above the title text as it probably has a little bit more room to work with.

Click Stylized First Letter or one of the other tabs and then back to Picked By AI to get the input boxes to show.

Then type a few nouns here, followed by text such as "ABOVE the title text" at the end.

Anyone knows what happened to the reviewers suggesting a sales price for an accepted premium domain?

It is also now mandatory to set a price when adding a domain as premium which makes no sense since the seller can change the price at any time after the domain is accepted.

The suggested price is still there. Adding a price seems to be mandatory.

Not sure if we are talking about the same things. If you are referring to the AI price, that is the rough price that an AI suggests before the domain is reviewed.

It is the evaluation *after* the review happens, where a domain has been accepted, that I'm referring to.

Well, that's how typically the prices were setup. You can see the same in all other brandable venues; you would send the name for review and, if accepted, they would set a price, logo, etc. and you only had to accept or reject.

That procedure used to be the same with Atom: You would send the name without entering a price and, if they accepted it, they would suggest a price for you to start at; a price that was different from the evaluation of the AI. Apparently, AI rules Atom these days.

A tool is only an advantage if your the only one using it. This will just drive up prices at GD auctions for the names it suggests and they might not even be good names .

Posted this Atom sale on X that had repeat visits. This is one of the factors Atom says is correlative.

Now obv, correlation doesn't mean names with repeat visits will sell. I have many names with repeat visits that have not sold (and so do you). However, what Atoms data shows is that names with repeat visits sell at a higher rate than names without.

Many of you are looking at stats like views that have no correlation at all - and I just wanted to post this to reinforce solely looking at stats that are correlative.
