Hey Folks,

I've just started using squadhelp.com to list some of my brandable. So far I have 76 domains listed, there is no fee to list. I've had some decent action so far in the way of interested buyers but no sales as of yet. I've only been with them for 1 week now.

A bit of a summary review of SquadHelp:

PROS

• No Listing fee
• No Logo design fee
• Ability to submit your names to end users holding naming contests
• Ability to chat directly or send a message directly to end users.
• Stats of your marketplace domains are shown in the marketplace dashboard.
• Their customer service and support has been great, 24hr a day chat.
• Ability to increase or decrease the list price of your domains or to show a discount. You can decrease or increase the price yourself by $200. If you want to lower more, you can contact support.
• End users can shortlist your domains before they make a decision on which they want to purchase. The number of shortlists is shown in you marketplace dashboard.
• When you submit your names you get to set the price you wish to get. Because their commissions are high I recommend listing at a higher price to offset the commission costs.
• Their landing pages are fairly basic but they work. Because the marketplace is fairly new, I'm sure we will see style improvements in the future.
• One thing I really like is they accept multiple extensions. I have listed .co and .io along with .com
• Each seller gets a direct link to their marketplace portfolio, HERES MY PORTFOLIO. It is handy if your trying to p[promote your portfolio through social media.
• I like that their marketplace doesn't have tens of thousands domain listings like BB. They are fairly strict on the domains they accept to list and so this helps keep the number of domains in the marketplace down and gets your listings more exposure.

CONS

• Their commissions are very high, depending on the domain name they are usually between 30% and 35%. However, there are no listing fees, no logo design fees, so in the end their commission is very similar to brand buckets.
• Their logos are not top quality, in fact I requested to have some of my logos remade.
• I think they have a big backlog of logos to design, the wait time for logo design has been around 1 week, but your names are still listed while the logos are being designed.
• After your names are accepted you need to agree to their commission rate, at this point you also need to apply your own keywords, descriptions etc. I found this was very time consuming.

Go into the actions menu of the domain. Click on 'downgrade to standard"

UPDATE: My standard-plus AND standard listings are showing together which is why I cant downgrade a single domain to standard, however I still cant find a way to do multiple domains plus-> downgrade to standard.


I dont even see that option anymore on one domain selected nor multiple domains selected

Correct. Somehow both are showing in my listings but I cant tell them apart. Trying to show only standard-plus so I can work on downgrading them but yes - made a mist there. Will edit post.

On the dashboard, near the top, Premium, Plus and Standard domains are listed. Click on the category of domains you want to change.

Yes. Tried it from my side as well just now. No option.
Removing and re-adding is the only option available as of now, but better after checking few domains if NS are not pointing to Atom.

Maybe delist and readd as standard? But not sure if txt verification is needed again (if not using atom ns). Better to check for one and then try bulk.

He wants to do it for multiple domains.

No need for txt verification, I’ve already downgraded all my Standard Plus to Standard, it just has to be done individually, bulk isn’t possible.

Just to confirm, the green 'New' tag indicates a new visitor and not a new new visit by a previous user?

That would make the country of origin coincidental, or are you running some marketing campaign in DE?

On the chance it's a bot, have you ever had a case where a bot actually made a purchase and the seller got paid?!

Personally, I’ve completely stopped trusting the statistics being shown. At this point, I don’t even know what’s correct anymore and what isn’t .

Starting one by one:
1. Luckily, Views are back in the Domain List, but we can’t sort by them (which should be easy to fix & very useful for us). [Edit: I've just noticed we can sort it from the menu, but not directly from the table like other values].
2. I don’t really understand why there’s no Shortlist number in the Dashboard.
3. Last week a lot of repeated visits disappeared from my Portfolio Visited Map without any explanation of whether they were bots or if this is a current bug (they still show up in other parts of the platform). Also, as someone mentioned earlier, now we only have a 7-day filter there & in my opinion it isn’t enough.
4. The data in the new Domain View Statistics looks completely odd:
- I exported data from several days and the total number of visits differs significantly every day from what the chart shows.
- Each day, the Platform Discovery View level is exactly the same across all my top domains (e.g., one day they’re all at 90–100, another day 10–20, another day 250–260). Since my top domains are from very different industries, it doesn’t make sense to me that they would be discovered by users in exactly the same way every single day. There’s never a case where, for example, one domain is at 100 while another is at 5 on the same day – if there is a drop, all of them drop to a similar level, and if there is an increase, they all go up to the same level.
- And something already mentioned here - unfortunately, we can only see stats for the top domains there, but what about the rest?

BTW, another thing not related to statistics – a really annoying bug: many updates in the domain profile (like editing the logo) reset the categories, keywords and/or possible uses. We can spend time filling in this section, but when we want to adjust something else, all our work goes to waste.

I understand that you’re working on developing the platform, but in my opinion, some things could be done a bit better. ( @Atom.com )

Can you please add the Atom Ai appraisal amount (you currently only show the score) in the new dashboard? Further, once added, can this info be included in the csv export?
