Atlast - YAY!

We have been using Dial Up for the past 3 months, Knowing that AOL told us we cannot get Broadband in his area, Last night i found out that we can get ADSL Broadband but not cable.

So last night i ordered 1.5mb ADSL Broadband.

It will be here in 8 days, God im so happy.

Do you know how hard it is uploading a 310mb website on DIALUP!!? :p

Been there, done that.

It's a really nice feeling when you move up from that dialup connection. No more long hours trying to upload/download even a simple website and no more waiting 5-10 minutes for a page to properly load.

I know the feeling: it took me 25 minutes to upload a 1MB website with a dial-up connection 6 years ago.

Yeah, I have 12gb of Music to download, Imagine doing that with DIALUP.

I couldn't cope with Dial Up any longer.

It got real hard to do stuff, It limited everything i usually do with Broadband or Cable :p

i couldn't live with dialup after having cable for so long. my wireless g card will be here in around a week can't wait for that to get here

Nono, I used to have Broadband 1mb but it got cut when i moved from England to Australia, We had to use Dial Up as AOL said we cannot get Broadband in our location The other day we found out we can get ADSL 1.5mb Broadband but not Cable, We had ADSL in England so... Yay!:p

when i get a 512con to the net after about 6months i even got bored of that speed and was itiching to get up to 1mb next step for me is 4mb

I have only experienced 1mb and that is fast... 4mb is massive!

Yes AOL will do that, if you tell them you are leaving for another company, they will usually give you GREAT deals, before i got broadband a few years ago, they gave us a free year of dailup to stay
