First of all, technically speaking .asia may not be a ccTLD as Asia is continent and not a country. Maybe that's just my opinion. Anyway, during the .asia landrush, I saw many domains go for +$10000 - mostly one-word of course.
How would you rank the worth of one word .asia domains these days? The Asian region does generate a lot of internet traffic.

Short term hype doomed to continue life in obscurity. There is no "Asian culture" or "Asian feeling" because the landmass is so big and the cultures of the different areas within Asia so big, that there is no such thing as a "pan-Asian" feeling. Europe is a borderline case because economically and politically a lot of things happen cross-border (we got the European Union and such) + the cultural differences are minimal due to the small size and such ... so .eu somehow makes sense. However, .asia ? I fear it will be an obscure one like .name with very few popular websites using it and very few sales worth mentioning.
