A US-based generic domain name is set to benefit from increased web traffic following the results of a new survey, according to CNN Money.
The study, conducted by CollegeGrad.com, found that 60 per cent of US businesses said that they planned to recruit more college graduates than they did in 2007, with 21 per cent stating that they will offer jobs to around the same number.
CollegeGrad.com, a site which offers a link between employers and students who have left education to seek employment, could benefit from the figures - as increased activity online could increase online traffic.
Brian Krueger, CollegeGrad.com president, told the news service: "Even in this challenging economy, college grads are in very high demand … a successful job search requires a focused effort."
CollegeGrad.com has been given a number of accolades since its decision to use generic internet real estate to provide its services, including a Microsoft Best of the Web Award and entry into U Magazine's Top 100 Web Sites for College Students.
