Hey hey,

Just wanted to let you guys know I put my new website up at www.artinvolved.com in its brand new layout.

If you have any feedback I'm happy to receive it.

(What is ArtInvolved? It's an artist community website where you receive points for being active on the site (getting vies, uploading artworks, etc.). Those points can be spent on rewards to enhance your profile page or browsing experience).

I agree. A nice clean layout. The thing I was surprised to see was how blank the header is. The footer has an "arty" look to it, but the header is a straight cut clean header with one logo.

Nicely done though. Very impressed. Just the header that bugs me.

Thing about the header is .. it changes.

Artists can unlock a reward to upload their own header + background image that shows on their pages for visitors (so on their Profile, Gallery, Artwork pages).

In addition, every month there is a competition to design the next months ArtInvolved background + header. The winner gets his layout shown for the full next month.

Just figured for the release period i should keep it a bit clean. Already got a submission for the december layout though, so it's all good =)

New features added and worked some more on optimizing (much more to do)

Any ideas how to effectively promote the site to get some more initial signups before i spend money on advertising? And, if this is the wrong thread for such, can someone point me to the right one?

Nice and professional website .. I think so you can get paid signups at initial state or try to market it with the people interested in it
