Well...actually my site is more than 5 months old...and earlier this did not happen...ever since I have changed the theme of my site , this has started happening

Well the placement is making the problem buddy.
Not allowing your content to match with the sidebar.
Hence getting such ads.

try diff placement and it should work.

Placement has nothing to do with whether or not you get PSAs.

I would wait 48 hours, and then email Google about it.

I have not seen so much Drivel and conjecture Written about adsense PSA ads

Simple rules for Adsense

1/ Make it easy for google to find Relevant Keywords
a. Your Ad placement has little do with PSA's being Served
b. Your site has Lots of JavaScript at the beginning of the HTML code making it hard for google to determine relevant Keywords
c. Add Google Targeting Tags around the Posts to Tell googleBot where to look for Keywords.





2/ Give Google enough time to Serve Relevant Ads
a. If Keywords are common and ads are available ,relevant ads will be served in minutes ,not hours ,not DAYS.
b. If There is very few ads for the available keywords ,PSA ads may continue to be served , Maybe time to change the Keywords.

If you dont want PSA ads use the alternate ad url mechanism to display an ad of your choice that works with your site.
This plus the advice above re site content etc. should get you out of your problem.
In general, I've noticed after a significant page change, the alternate ad (or PSA ad) shows up on my first one or two tests and then Google ads roll in almost as a matter of course. I always set up the alternate ad mechanism to cover the PSA scenario, just takes a little more work.

Try to use the following tags in your <body> </body>
to show goodgle where you content is located. (do also give it some time)

Also while making the adsense code you have the option to not show
any ads at all..

I actually had this same problem and it turns out there was an error with the way the code was reading my content, or something along those lines.

Email Google and they will look into it.

made a minor change to site and no ads display?

I edited this page to add a jpg ...ads displayed for about 15 minutes, then they all disappeared... if I upload other pages that already exist into different direcories, ads show fine... if I edit just one tag all the ads disappear.... that has never happened to me before.... I'm plain confused

especially when I edit it in another directory...
I deleted all the ads and just one new one.... I set it to display public service ads....now I get a public service ad.... IN POLISH!~

You are right... I copied all the adsense code back to http://www.debs.com/debsbiz/nordstrom.html this morning and it works fine... so... I copied the entire page back to http://www.debs.com/nordstrom.html and still get nothing!
