Most of us have seen this at the bottem of old sedo parked pages. Sedo put them there on names that people parked but forgot to put in their sedo account. Namedrive does a simular line now too, but on top of the page... But just how many pages are parked without being added to the account? Well I decided to check it out, so here is the results:

36,200 results in google for the exact phrase. Wow. 36,000 domains that sedo is earning from without paying out.

Ofcourse some of these may now be properly parked, but a lot may not be.

Yup, that's a lot. But that's not all.

+ users that didn't earn enough money for the payout and canceled their accounts.
+ domains that were sold but buyers forgot or didn't want to change nameservers.

You would have to prove that it was yours. I think they check whois against what the domain says and your sedo profile.

Not really. They check only if the name is NOT pointing to their DNS. If it is, you really COULD add those 30K domains to your account, and I would assume get a nice revenue, but I would also assume if they discovered it, they would ban you, as it would be a TOS vialation.
