There are exactly 17 576 LLL dot mobi.
Watch out : from them, there are only 2% which are only first key's touch !!! Exactly, there are only 336 domain names of that type.

I imagine that particularity increase the value of those 336 LLL.mobi compare to the rest of 17 576.

I have one of them : DPJ.MOBI
How many of them are owned by the majors ?

Please, there is an error for the calculations : I forgot to include the double letters (as : ppk.mobi) and the triple letters ( as : ppp.mobi). I will come back saturday morning with the right figures. It will be much greater than 336. I apologize

I have a 4 stroke mobi DXD.mobi (3993). I agree that fewer strokes could trump bad letter combos.

Is G11.MOBI a considered as a 3 strokes ? I registrated it to be an alternative to 411.

MJT (658), but I probably won't sell. I bought it for my son who is still in diapers. It's his initials. I figure it will help him with the ladies later in life :xf.love: or could be sold to help pay for some must have at that time like a monkey-jet or something

But yet, on most phones I see now, they are not abiding to typical "number/letter" patterns. And more and more phones have full 1 touch keyboards, or like the black berry 8700s ab - cd - ef etc

either way, the people who tend to browse the internet more on their phones are normally people using PDA/Data devices... which most include full keyboards.

to hard to tell what is truly going to be of value..

considering that 1 and 0 don't have letters, there are exactly 8*8*8 LLL.mobi that are 1 touch only: 512

I have a 4 touch LLLL AGMA.mobi which is a dictionary word - it's not a very popular word though so would need development or perhaps match an acronym.

I have mwp.mobi

Could stand for Mobile Web Pages! I hand regged it during land rush. I plan on making it into a directory after the New Year.

If your on a mobile device, are you really going to spend all that time writing in the URL with a .mobi at the end?

I know on my pda all i do is type ex: "google" and it will go directly to the .com, but I can set it to .mobi instead, but in the future, if the .mobi ext take off and get picked up by other companies (such as nokia) by typing in google, it should direct to a .mobi domain. But as of now.. that is not happening.. only time will tell. And with die hard mobile internet users, most have no issues typing in a .com/net or whatever it may be, most phones today have full qwerty style key pads, and if not, you can purchase plug n play keyboards for most new phones :tu:

I think that question was answered by the major cellphone companies and mobile browser companies like opera before they launched Internet service on the cellphone... The extra digit is totally negligible.

This is a non argument or one that was debated and laid to rest 5 years ago...

Apparently on the new phones you do not need to type the .mobi part of the domain if you are on a phone. So say you wanted to visit TaxiSearch.mobi, on your phone you would just type TaxiSearch :)

Can that be confirmed? I know that there has been some talks of it, but I didn't think it would happen for some time. The sooner the better, IMO:)

If i typed "taxisearch" on my phone it would redirect to the .com, but I can edit that option to change it to anything. And like my phone, most new phones (ie moto q, pearl, blackberry 8700 series, blackjack etc) you can do the same. As for normal PCS/CDMA/GSM style phones (that are not data devices) I have no idea how the browsers are setup.

I bought AATT.mobi. I wonder if this name will have any value? What do you guys think? On old phones with number key pads its 2288. That was my thought behind it think it will be valuable?
