Are you forced to use BrandBucket for transferring domains?

Hey all,

I'm trying to purchase a domain from a user.

His domain is listed/published for sale at BrandBucket. I am paying a reseller price for the domain (not the actual $xxxx fixed price on the BrandBucket listing) privately for the domain.

He says he needs to push the domain to my BrandBucket account.

His domain is registered at Dotster; couldn't he simply just push the domain to my Dotster account?

What's going on here? Why are we 'forced' to use BrandBucket for the transfer?

There should be 30 day notice period to withdraw domain from Brandbucket.
You should notify them and list it for 30 days, then you can withdraw
