No, I do not recommend you buy .ws, just stick to .com!

.Ws domains do not sell for high prices like .com's

thanks ideesweb, even something like a US state or UK county

.com's are all gone, after .net, what is the next most valuable from .org, .biz, .info

and what about a Alabama.tv or Surrey.tv

.Tv is alright, there are still a lot of great domains for sale out there in .com

I think the .ws would sell for a decent amount if it is a really famous location. So dublin.ws, paris.ws, newyork.ws, toronto.ws ... I would reg those if they'd be available. But I would not do the .ws of a lesser known city like valladolid.ws or littlerock.ws

Also, don't expect sales as high as the .com version or .info version. But still, you don't really believe nobody would bid a decent amount for domains like moscow.ws or washington.ws ?? Maybe a lot less than the .com variant, but still a good sum of money.

I would suggest you to choose a registrar that allows you to push domains to another account as .ws can't be transferred between registrars.

Depends on if it's a premium & if so, the renewal fee. Any decent GEO non-premium in the .tv would've been already taken.
