.ws Tld

I'm not a pro to all this, but I want to know, is it worth buying .WS domain names if I hope to resell?

I search for domains, and all the TLD are gone, but the .WS always seems to be avaliable, but I haven't bought anything till I know if they're worth anything.

So what you guys think of the TLD?

Depends on the domain name. Don't plan on reselling thisisanameiwanttoresell.ws - its just not going to resell. I think that the .ws name is best for developing sites and then selling them, since a lot of people perceive .ws as the extension for websites.

You might be better off this way.

Lots of information throughout the Namepros site on the ".WS", IMHO ... very generally I'd say their value is limited, IMHO. It is possible that good "keyword" type ".WS" domains can garner a profit in resale, however. I've personally sold two (s), I believe, over the years for ~Reg. fee's+/+ - $42.50+'s! :gl:

Be selective, be cool (do your research, consider developing, etc.) ... is what I'm trying to say!
Namepros Quick Search™ at the top / right of the site will be of assistance, as well.

.ws is not a very popular tld so you should not expect much in terms of resell. Good resale value will only depend on the name associated with .ws extension. So if you're planning to buy a .ws your best bet would be to develop a site on that name and market it properly.

Well, that pretty much speaks for itself.

Peronsally, I have a few, but they are either single word developable domains, extremely strong two word domains, or just names I plan on keeping for myself. I'd say on average, high two to low three figures is a good sale.

I've mostly given up on .WS, so I guess they can be expected to become real popular any time soon.
