Are TYPO domains worth investing in?

Is it worth it to register typo domains of websites with, let's say, a traffic rank of 100,000 or less on Alexa?

By typo domains I mean one letter is doubled, one letter is switched with a letter next to it, or there is www at the beginning.

i tried time ago but the traffic was poor

why not just taste it and let it drop if the traffic is not good, best thing to do with typos
