Are "tube" domains valuable ?

i came across someone selling following domains regularly...was quite shocked by the prices.

ExposeTube.com $3000
GalTube.com $1950
JahTube.com $1500
GhostTube.com $7500
TubeFiles.com $5000
SillyTube.com $3333

PulseTube.com $1000 Blowout

question is, does having "tube" in your domain boost the value to such figures ?

it was a youtube trend that caught on quick, to late to the game, over saturated at this point I would say, unless you have an old tube reg, any new ones you try to aquire will cost you, unless the owner is clueless. It helps with media names.

you will notice in the alexa top 500, that there are a plethora of so-called tube sites. also on namebio and dnjournal you can track lots of 5 to 6 figure sales of logical Keyword+Tube.com's + we have moved quite a few in the mid $xxxx range. online video continues to explode by all reports.

I suppose the prices are high because prefixes for the domain names are short vocabulary domain names.

I dont see why not if it was a popular searched for keyword-Tube.com domain basically like a highly searched for non tube domain but most if not all are long gone...
