Are there any services out there that will actively broker your names?

Do services like this exist? Not interested in places like Sedo or Afternic where you just list your names amongst millions of others.... looking for places that will broker your names out to their contacts and/or other businesses that may have an interest in them.

Not looking for places that only accept tier 1 domains either like shoes.com, planes.com etc..... but will accept "decent" domains too.

If anything like this exists I would love to hear about it & your experience (if any) with them.

Cheers!

The only option would be to hire private brokers and sell through them. If your names are good, then submit them to the Traffic auctions.

Nature (and business) abhores a vaccum. Only a matter of time before there are many such services.

A broker will typically ask for 10-20% of the sales price. That means there is little incentive to actively promote $$$ names... which may not sell in spite of hard effort. One thing you can do is advertise in industry magazines etc to reach a specific audience. Anybody can broker the names, but you need to identify your potential clients.

I don't think I like to work with brokers, just because that is usually the cover that a scammer takes. From now on, if all the paypal, whois and other info I find doesn't match up, no deal... Even if you say you are a broker.

afternic.com will help you move your names. But any extension
other than the .com will quickly move further down the preference
list.

Excuse me?
:hehe:

Basic common sense to anyone who has been doing this for over a month tells you all account information at registrar and paypal must match 100% or you will be sorry if a chargeback occurs and will likely loose the domain and your money. This is why I personally post this as a rule in all of my auctions on ebay etc.

Escrow.com and your own domain sale contract signed by both parties is the only way to go when dealing with someone you dont know :imho:

Add domain privacy with it, so that you don't get duped, even with a contract. :)
