Both extensions are good but more restrictive than .com. The keywords should fit the TLD.
.ORG is fine for everything that is non-profit
.NET is fine for everything that is tech/Internet/network related
IMO it is a good thing to have a few in your portfolio. Also these TLDs are well-established and respected. The same does not hold true for some of the more recent TLDs.
However many names are registered under .net & .org as a second choice (.com already taken). The trick is to find names that fit the ext and don't look like a second choice :gl:
