.us's are restricted ccTLD, despite the common perception that they aren't (Because it is not actively enforced to date) For the details: http://www.nic.us/policies/docs/ustld_nexus_requirements.pdf

The most you can get for a 3 LETTER .com ? Geezis... many a thousand $. (That's US$, not CAN$)

3 Letter .us? Wholesale for bad letters is $20 maybe?

Good letters? Into the hundreds, not too many 4 figure .us sales to date.
