(the problem with goDaddy closeouts is that I rarely find a good domain)

I use GoDaddy closeouts to fish for EMD domains to flip for wholesale price, is that a good strategy? What other places could I find sellable names in?

Too many eyes, too many sieves. Good source for mid-tier domains if you're quick, but don't expect anything great.

Is a trash can a good place to find good food?
Is a clear-out bin/shelf at the grocery store a good place to find nice things?

You may find a nugget, perhaps, after searching, rummaging, checking expiry dates, etc., and spending hours and hours doing so, over multiple days/weeks. But you are also more likely not to find a nugget, for the simple reason, that nothing of any value is trashed or thrown out to the dogs.

Use your mind.

I'm afraid making money from names is much more complex than this.
