Are affiliate links now allowed?

I thought affilite links were not allowed on this forum, but I have seen quite a few members recently with their namedrive affiliate link in their signature - is this ok now or are they just trying their luck?

Affiliate Advertising. The Marketplace is intended for advertising products and services owned or operated by forum members. Affiliate or referral "links" are not appropriate anywhere on the forum.

You can report them, NP Staff will remove their aff/ref signature or post

Affilate links are not allowed. All members: please report posts with affiliate links in the post or signature by clicking the "red-triangle-with-an-exclamation-mark" at the bottom of every post!
