Clarification of rules - Affiliate links

Hi,

I have noticed a few affiliate links in posts / sigs, and was just wondering about the rules which state:

"Affiliate or referral "links" are not appropriate anywhere on the forum."

This text is underneath the "Marketplace Etiquette" heading.

Does the rule apply only to the marketplace forums or does it apply to the entire NamePros site?

Applies to all of NamePros. If you notice affiliate links in a post or a sig, report it

The only place they are allowed is on visitors for clicks.
