Are 4 CHAR .coms worth much?

i am just pondering over a few domains and was wondering - do 4 letter .com domains go for alot?

I think there are less than 1000 remaining now... and obviously the better ones are already taken. Some may have good value but less than LLL domains. I would keep the names for medium term horizon.

Many LLLL.com are still out there, but they are gonna all be soon regged adn then they will increase their value many many times!
Try getting some pronouncable's one and I'm sure you will earn $$$!

The nice with them is you could easily develop them in comapnies if that could hosting or domain sites!

4 random letters are running out at a rather quick pace. I expect them to be gone in ~8 months.

Obviously snagging ones with S, T, and A etc is a wiser investment, because they're more commonly found in words (so more chance of a buyer wanting it).

And it is probably worth it JaxForum, yes...

Yes of course, if the word is meaniningful, or try to search thru Namepros for the "valuable alphabet" thread - there are people talking about valuable domains by grouping non-meaning letters together.

Yes!!.. but the price of the domain changes and depends on the letters that your trying to use for example if you use Q's and Z's it won't cost that much so select some good letter

My understanding is that there still close to 100000 remaining unregistered domain names. I found over 600 today to just test this fact. However, I agree that they are on their way out and they are still a good buy.

There are 456,976 four letter combos possible, so they're not exactly a rarity.

I'm still waiting for fwbb.com to get its first offer. Could mean Fixed Wireless Broad Band.

Sure, there are plenty of 4 letter names that are worth a lot. Cash.com, info.com jobs.com. Each worth a fortune.

There are far more that are worth a lot less. And many that are worth nothing. A good example of latter would be the 80,000 (yes, 80,000 not 1,000) that are still available and most of the 100,000 that were registered in the last 12 month by suckers that believe a name is worth something simple because of it's length.
