Fairly good sized auction with circa 80 domain names in all, covering US cities with a population of between 300,000 – 500,000+. The domains are in the areas of Mortgage, Loans, Real Estate, Realty, and Refinance. In this auction the opening bids start at $15 for a .info, $50 for a .net, and $150 for a .com.
All the domains are sold on the strength of the domain name itself and no claims as to traffic, earning potential, etc., is made by the vendor.
Please note the following terms and conditions before bidding or buying.
1. The auction layout
Each domain listing will consist of 2 lines.
Line 1……… Domain / Registered at
Line 2……… Minimum opening bid shown in red. In subsequent posts will turn black to indicate present bid.
Where two figures for the population are given the one preceding the (C) is the population for the City and the figure immediately preceding the (S) is for State.
*Please note I will only be able to do one new post a day (which I will try to update) so please check the posts for that day to make sure the highest bid shown is the actual current highest bid!
2. Auction Duration
Each individual domain name auction will end in one of two ways:
1. An auction will end if a bid has been made on the individual domain name and no subsequent bid occurs within the subsequent 72 hours. Any subsequent bid occurring within the 72 hours will reset the clock count down to 72 hours.
2. A correctly placed BIN purchase has been made for the domain name immediately stopping the auction as under rules for a BIN purchase below.
3. BIN Prices
The BIN (Buy-It-Now) price for each domain is set at double the minimum bid or the current highest bid at the time whichever of the two are higher. This means that if a domain has a minimum opening bid of $100 (or the minimum bid is the only bid on that domain) then the BIN price is $100 x 2 = $200, however, if a bid higher than the minimum bid has been received on the domain, say $125, then the BIN price is $125 x 2 = $250.
4. Minimum Bidding Increments
All bids to be made in US$.
Current bid under $149.99 then the minimum bid increment is $5
Current bid $150.00 - $499.99 then the minimum bid increment is $10
Current bid $500.00 - $999.99 then the minimum bid increment is $25
Current bid $1,000.00 - $2,499.99 then the minimum bid increment is $50
Current bid $2,500.00 - $7,499.99 then the minimum bid increment is $100
Current bid $7,500 or more then the minimum bid increment is $250
5. Payment
Payment for domains either won in auction or purchased at BIN prices will be as follows:
1. A domain purchased for under $2,000 will be paid for by Paypal (Verified only) within 48 hours of the end of auction or purchase of that domain;
2. A domain purchased for more than $2,000 will be paid for via Escrow.com, with payment reaching Escrow.com within 3 business days of the end of auction or purchase of that domain. Escrow fees are split on a '50/50' basis between the purchaser and vendor.
If you wish to discus alternative forms of payment or payment periods then please PM me prior to bidding/purchasing. Only alterations previously agreed to the payment options/periods by me in writing (PM/email) will be accepted after the end of the auction/purchase.
6. Transfer of domains
Transfer of domains to the purchaser will occur only when full payment for the domain/s has been received into my Paypal account, or if paying via Escrow.com when Escrow.com informs me that cleared full payment has been received by them.
Transfer of any domain/s will be only with the registry the domains are currently held in (GoDaddy.com or Monika.com). I will require certain information from the buyer to facilitate the transfer. Supplying such information speedily will allow the quick transfer.
7. Special Notice
Following the Sedo .mobi third auction fiasco I am making the following point clear.
If service to this auction thread is interrupted by technical, mechanical, electrical, or any other fault with the exception of unlawful and/or corrupt interruption of service (i.e. DDOS attack, etc.) then the last recorded bid on the system at the time service was interrupted will be considered the winning bid if and when 72 hours has elapsed from that bid with no other bid being placed. If interruption of service occurs due to unlawful and/or corrupt means then the auction will be classed as suspended as from the time of such interruption until service is resumed, at such resumption the clock count down on each domain auction with a bid running will resume at the time period remaining as at the point of the unlawful/corrupt interruption of service.
8. Please note any domain name without a bid on may be withdrawn from auction without notice.
