Hello Domainers!

I am fairly new to this game and made some mistakes and may have made another.

However I have hand regged the below domains today thinking that they be of worth. I seen them as a competing name with the likes of the fairly well known "last minute".

Could be used for online booking of most kinds; holidays, events, auctions etc.

Can you appraise this for me?

Minuteleft.com & Minutesleft.com

I bought both because I wasn't sure which one was better, so may be able to sell combined or something?

it was constructive, just wasn't what you wanted to read maybe.

however, despite the usage idea you proposed, unless "you" are going to develop around that, then my previous statement is appropriate.


auction, booking, travel sites are high competition areas and names like those aren't very descriptive per your proposed applications.
so branding it will be a cost as well as trying to keep a rank in those niches'.

additionally, the idea conveys "high anxiety" emotion, in that one "has to act" before time runs out.

I could go on as to why, and you could ignore my comments if other members thought favorable of them.

I see nothing constructive about your original post. I see an opinion which hasn't been explained in any way and was of no help to me whatsoever.

In any case you have given me a constructive answer now and I appreciate your comments. It has also given me an idea for development of the domain, or at least a sales target of who may be interested.

I think a good use for the domain would be advertising auctions with less than 1 hour to go, therefore increasing the chance of an impulse buy. Could be monetized by being a part of the eBay partner network?

Any other suggestions?

Personally I don't think this name is very sexy or brandable for the purpose you describe but good luck.
However I don't see resale value here for the domain as-is. Domains that are still unregistered in 2013 are available for a reason. You are the first who thinks this name was worth at least $10.

I think there may be appeal in the domain so I am going to put some work into it.

Taking what has been said so far into account, I don't see it as an easy task. I will develop the domain into a fully functional eBay affiliate site and see where we go from there.

The eBay auctions page is a decent idea. Would be hard to resell so best to develop yourself.
Might be able to sell it as a developed site for more down the road.
