When domain names become longer than the actual IP addresses of the websites they represent, we have failed as a registrant. The longest maximum IP address is 12 characters. Domain names are designed to shorten the amount of data a visitor must recall when dialing up a website.
If the domain name is longer than the IP address, you are basically throwing a wrench at the Internet society, spitting at the 0 1 highway, surfing with an oversized board.
Let's take the Internet back and forbid registrations of domains over 8 characters in length. IMO.
