domain Appraisal for FRIEDRICE.COM please

Purchased long time ago for family business but never got started.

What would be $$ appraisal for my name to sell?

Don't want to bounce around domain resellers to sell. Ideas?

It's virtually impossible to appraise a domain at an end-user price because no one knows the budget / motivation of all end-users as it may relate to your name. What kind of traffic does the name get?

Absent of traffic / revenue I would estimate you could get low $x,xxx for the name to a reseller.

FriedRice.com is a gem that can be used for all kinds of stuff. I wouldn't even consider selling for under $20,000...and that's low.

Very nice name, with many uses, with nice overture, easy to monetize, very brandable for books, tv, movie even. High value to both reseller and end user.
reseller = 12 - 15K easily, possibly add another 5K to that if they're sure of it or have clients they're sure will buy it from them.
end user = no less than 25K as a minimum. Could be considerably more if the perfect 'motivated buyer' comes along, like someone wants to make a tv show about oriental dishes and name it this

If you parked it and got an idea of the kind of revenue you can generate from type-in traffic, you could get a better estimate. I haven't checked but have a feeling that the average ppc for 'fried rice" is pretty low.

I think some of these appraisals are a bit over the top. People are seeing this as generic, but its really product specific. And even more to the point, its not a product thats sold on the internet. At best, your looking at a marketing campaign for the end-user, which really can limit the potential value.

Personally, I see this one to a reseller for a few thousand. If this name hit the auction blocks you might do a bit better. 4-6k... End User? (Uncle Ben type) - upwards of 10k, but that sale might be harder than you think. Good luck!
