Anyone using Sedo Parking? Was 2016 a Disaster for you, too?

I park a few thousand non-adult domains on a wide variety of topics which has provided a fairly small but steady income stream over the years, and was doing fine at Sedo.

Then, at the beginning of the year Sedo "lost all historic data", which began the slide of RPM. My incoming traffic remained pretty much the same, even improving with some names, but the click-thru and payout took a hard fall. Spot checks showed a lot of ads that were on the wrong topic, but basically Sedo's position is "we don't see anything wrong" with a 70% income drop on the SAME domains and traffic.

I'm probably going to change parking providers, but I was wondering if anyone else has seen anything similar to this, or had similar discussion with their Sedo rep.

Doesn't hurt to try someone else and compare, ParkingCrew, Uniregistry etc...
If ya don't wanna test thousands of domains just take your top 10 earners and flip them over and if results are better then continue the move from the top earners on down so less delay in potential improved earnings.

Actually it 'hurts' a lot to move -- I'll have to pay 5% more sales commission to Sedo on domains sold there, and I'll lose traffic stats since some will be at one place and some at the other.

Am I the only Namepros user who parks at Sedo??

Reason I said just test a few of the top earners to see if an improvement. If parking earnings blow Sedo out of the water than you lost nothing, if not move the few back. End users generally don't care about traffic stats only domainers. The offers you are receiving at Sedo come from your own leads from the parking page as they basically spend nothing on advertising except advertising to domainers so you're paying commission for what? Not like their out promoting your domains or they can be found easily on their site. All of my domains are listed at Sedo but would never park there as basically handing your leads away to a company with their own portfolio of domains to sell and an email sign up form on all of your domains so they can pimp other domainers domains to your leads as well.

GoDaddy is the only one I see spending massive advertising to attract business end users instead of domainers.

I have used...

my own sales pages=0 commission
Uniregistry set to self broker=0 commission
Bodis Sales Pages=0 commission

along with a handful of parking companies with the sales links redirected to my own domain sales site. I have 13+ years of end user names, emails, phones, ips etc... you'll never achieve that with an anonymous marketplace your domains are just furthering their profits with zero compensation for the lead database driven in to them by your own domains.

sold a few domains there that I wasn't trying to over the yrs ...but as for parking i gave up on them 4 yrs ago.
i went into above and blocked them from rotation along with all the others that don't pay

It was the best of the bunch in prior years, not only paying the highest but giving a 5% discount on domains sold that were parked there.

Who is the best now?

I moved all my domains from Sedo to Bodis a few years ago... and did 5-10+ times higher revenue on the same domains... So I don't understand completely about what you are talking...
+ I use ParkingCrew...

And you may use just Sedo's escrow service (3% or min. $60), their pseudoparking is not needed at all.
