Hello just a quick question, Does anyone know this man:

Neil Stichbury
President
Back Office Net Solutions

Ive been in contact with him about a domain.

I have a suspicion this man maybe a scam artist, or a wanna be.

Not necessarily disagreeing with you per se (you haven't fully stated your situation), but you really need to get your main question answered there before you go ahead and publish the man's real name on an internet forum while callling him a scam artist.

MOST DEFINETLY A SCAM !! It is obvious to me that this guy is using this forum to contact domain users (the reason I know this is that I posted one of my domains here recently for an appraisal - This is the only place my newly aquired domain is listed)

I would delete the email - it will be another appraisal generating scam !!

Well i have done some research on the man.

Back Office Net Solutions doesnt exsist from what i can see.

I now get this in response to email:

Subject: Re: Delivery Status Notification (Failure)

This is an automatically generated Delivery Status Notification
Delivery to the following recipient failed permanently:

Technical details of permanent failure:
PERM_FAILURE: SMTP Error (state 9): 550 <[email protected] >: Recipient address rejected: Account Closed by [email protected]

If this man is not a con artist, i apologize and i would like this topic deleted.

Agreed.
You can't drag anyone's name through the mud before you have a reliable proof.

I apologise, the reason I jumped to that conclusion is he uses quite alot of the same text as many previous appraisal scams that have been posted here - my apologies Mr Stichbury if you're inocent but I very much doubt it ! :santa: told me all about you !

The so called "Back Office Net Solutions" must have multiple presidents.

I got a e-mail last week from someone claiming to be:

Peter Stichbury, Ph.D.
President
Back Office Net Solutions

He pretty much insist on me getting an appraisal from allfordomains.com and accepts nothing else. Claims sedo is not professional, and that accuratedomains.com provides cheap service and unknown.

There are also multiple threads on domainnametalk.com forum describing similar scam. One thing in common to all these different e-mails is that he will give you a link to a forum where he asked for "expert" advice. The forum is http://domaintalk.ourplace.com/Archive/######.htm. When I try to check out the main url, http://domaintalk.ourplace.com, it shows a site under maintenance page.

May be just my opinion, but everything smells like a scam.

Besides, if a buyer is really interested, he can get an appraisal himself.
