Anyone else having probs w/GoDaddy hosting right now?

for the past couple hrs, have been trying to upload files using their ftp applet. it keeps timing out or saying "unable to connect to socket" or "software error"

How large were files? What about existing limits on the Godaddy?

it wasn't a file size issue. I ended up restarting my computer to clear all the cache on everything and then it worked. May have just been a java issue

Well maybe problem was on your PC. Because I haven't encounters this though I upload things daily.
