Anyone catch this years flu/cold yet?

It wasn't the flu, more of a cold. Even so, I'm not one for those flu shots but I'm starting to reconsider! Sometimes I'll get a 48 hour sniffle but this one started over a week ago and I'm only 'bout 95% back to normal... whatever that is!

I write this cuz with everything (various bugs) running around these days I want to remind all of you to wash your hands often.. particularly when you're around others! :tu:

Aww... I'm sorry to hear that! It's miserable huh. Mine started just with my nose (sniffles) and then it went to my chest. Grr! I hate being sick! I've spent most of the last week on Nyquil and Halls.

I've been lucky so far this year - I think NPQueen has been down with a little bug and -X- had one this past week as well. I stay shut up in the house a lot lately ( Hybernating already :p ) - so Going to the store / post office is my only encounters with the human race - lol.

Ya'll take care of yourselves - and Don't visit elderly or young children if it's possible when sick. They are the most prone to catching things ....

I've been lucky so far... *knock on wood* But a few weeks back my mother came down with the flu and I ran back and forth to her house bringing her meals, medication, groceries, putting her dogs out and so on... She got hit all at once with the flu, a bladder infection and a urinary track infection. :o She was off work for a week and a half. Once she got back on her feet I hightailed it to the local medical clinic and got myself the flu shot.

No colds yet this year, but last year I had a cough that lasted about 3 months.

I've had one for about a week and a half . The thing for me is, I have allergies, at times quite bad, which cause a blocked nose and sneezing for much of the year. It's hard to tell the difference between a cold and allergies sometimes :o ! And when I have them at once, it's ... well ... bad. I'm getting out of it though, I think :] .

I have had the flue for two weeks and the fact of the manner is i can barely type without barfing everywhere. And i did get the cold and it really interacts really wierd with my sinuses and allergies making me feel quite uncomfortable sometimes. Also I think I will not be going to school tommorow. It is pretty boring to be in bed all day, and now at least i will be able to play video games

I just got over a cold,wasn't the flu though thank goodness,A pesky cold none the less with alot of coughing and ect.Glad it's gone now.

Ahhh you do pay attention to me :hehe: I too got my flu shot this year, but those darn colds are no fun either. I am in the middle of the whole stuffy nose, tired, body aches stuff... I hope it runs it course soon.
