What is your opinion of http://www.registereverywhere.com/index1.php

It looks like it's to good to be true, but I can't find a catch... I know I must be missing something... I would pay $1000 in a heartbeat to get my site in the top ten for my keyword... I'm already paying $1000 a week to google just for 6th postition in the PPC section...

I know that whenever a site gurantees top ten listings its usually a scam, as no one can guarantee everything with the search engines but this is a PR7 site and the sales page is PR6, so they must be doing something right.. so what do you think?

And before anyone starts accusing.... I have NOTHING to do with this company... no affiliation in any way... I was just messing around in google and saw that they are 1 PPC for term "serach engine".

Thanks,
George

I don't think there is a catch but be sure to read the terms carefully if it's worth the money for you. This looks like it could be a good investment for online businesses, but not so much for affiliate or Adsense websites (which they don't accept anyways).

Their cheapest plan guarantees "top 10 rankings on the natural search results of AT LEAST 3 major search engines, with a MINIMUM of 2 of the key phrases we optimize your site around. One of the 3 major search engines must be either Yahoo or Google." But they exclude the most common keywords, so only longtail.

And your comment about their pagerank is why me (and a lot of others) think Google should hide pagerank. It isn't meant as a "seal of approval" by Google. It just means that they are good at building pagerank. They simply got it by paying for links or sponsoring the right pages. Plus they are listed on dmoz and have a (again, paid for) listing on Yahoo.

For that $1000 just keep developing good content and you'll get that top spot before you know it.

Yes. Go with your statement above. No ifs and buts.

Thanks folks, I appreciate the help, I've emailed them to see if they'll provide the guarantee for my keywords.

It sounded pretty interesting so I did some more digging. On their homepage there is a testimony from one of their clients, whenangelsfly .com. Assuming they want to rank for the same keywords they have in their meta tag, i canonly find them on the first page on Google for the longer keywords. Not the more common ones (like wedding songs).

So in this case they did what they promised: a minimum of three keywords in the top 10 rankings, but I wonder what the quality is of traffic that website is getting for it.

Interesting. They do seem to optimize their sites for the main page, but i did notice they seem to be pretty non-competitive keywords.

i.e father and daughter songs.....

Not only would I be weary about someone guaranteeing rankings, but also, the idea that a single flat rate can garner top 10 rankings for any keyphrase raises a red flag for me. Obviously some phrases will take considerably more work than others.

Hi Guys,
Was doing some research on researcheverywhere's service and came across this post. I'm having a hard time believing it myself, but I was thinking of giving it a try for my site contactlens.com for the keyword "contact lenses" on Google. I figure for a grand it'll be interesting to see if they're FOS or not.
We were on page 2 on Google for the keyword "contact lens" until last week and then we disappeared entirely, I guess when they changed their algorithms (quite a lot changed). We're on page 11 for "contact lenses" on Google now and I was spending $400./mo on their sponsored ads which got us a page 2 position but have since given it a rest and haven't seen much change in orders. I think most people pay a lot more attention to their organic listings.
I've spent some time optimizing the home page and meta keywords over the last week, but it's too soon to tell what difference that'll make. We do quite well on MSN for keyword contact lens; page 1, but Google.....

You sound like a smart group with some definite opinions so I though I'd ask what you think prior to committing to researcheverywhere. Any help or suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

I think that the http://www.registereverywhere.com/index1.php site will do what it promises, but you may not get what you believed you'd get. Maybe they just get you on Page for useless keywords that you could have got yourself on page 1 for without them. I don't think I'd trust paying a thousand dollars or more to such an agency.

I just wanted to give a quick update...

I emailed back and forth with them a little, below is my correspondence (btw, "logo design" is a very competitive term, with something like a $2.50-$3.00 PPC for the top listings):

Hi,
Does your guarantee apply to the keyword "logo design"?
Thanks,
George

Hi George,

Thank you for your inquiry.

What is the website address?

Sincerely,

Customer Support

Hi,
The address is (address removed for privacy reasons), the site is about 9 months old, has been optimized and has 9090 backlinks according to google sitemaps. I am expecting a PR 5 next update. I just need someone to take it to the next level, and you guys seem to have some pretty attractive packages.

Some of the keywords I want to rank for (besides "logo design", which is the most important) are: cheap logo design, company logo design, custom logo design, logo design firm etc...

If you are able to do this and it works out I will probably also have you optimize (another site), which is currently under development.

Also, what are some of the better search terms that you guys rank for (for registereverywhere.com)?

Thanks,
George

They never got back to me.

Go figure...

Just FYI,
George
