I have an adult domain and Ive just signed for hostedtube .com few days back. Ihad 200 uniques per day and the revenue of 0.10 USD from parking. Ive decided to try hostedtube since you get indexed and dont forget about the returning visitors :) So the traffic is climbing for approx. 100 uniques per day and revenue each day for 0.02 USD up. I would just be grateful to know - if anybody is using them - how to add my sponsor ID on the sponsors page?Or at least reviews from others?

Ok, took at look at bestcams.xyz and decided to give it a shot also. I put up a domain on AWempire, 2 days worth of traffic results below, better than expected. Note: have 301'ed a bunch of adult domains with backlinks and past traffic. Question is do these stats eliminate bot traffic (626 raw, 457 unique)? Created a a wider network of other domains and tubes @decades80 on the free sites you suggested on hostedtube and put in the one linking to AW cam site. Will see what happens! Thanks! PBN's are a pain to maintain though so thought raw clicks non-masked redirects might be better. Opinions?

@decades80 So here is Nov 1st to today with additional sites. I don't understand how they calculate the payouts. If you see the site with less traffic getting $0.37? versus the top 2 sites that have been there for awhile. I put links as you suggested on hostedtube header out to the AWE live sites, and found no stats yet displaying any click throughs yet on those sites with clicks from my AWE site. Most traffic I believe is only from the heavy backlinked sites I have 301'ed to the AWE sites.

Any particular reason to prefer 301 vs 302 for this purpose? Just wondering...

The 302 is temporary right, so for me I want visitors to learn my nice sleazy domain names. I bought some real winner joke ugky long string domains with backlinks with dashes... rather view them as expendable in a year, and continue buying up old expired.

โ€œA 301 redirect is a permanent redirect which passes between 90-99% of link juice (ranking power) to the redirected page. 301 refers to the HTTP status code for this type of redirect. In most instances, the 301 redirect is the best method for implementing redirects on a website.
Redirection - SEO Best Practices | Mozโ€

In fact I am just experimenting. For a year I was stealthing the redirects and decided that now its better to educate the users to learn the new URL and forget the old ones with all the backlinks. PBNโ€™s are such a pain and with all the WP attacks lately I am lazy so just sending traffic the lazy way. That and I am not interested at hosting my own content.

Google has screwed me enough on organic ranking on other projects, I decided to ban all crawlers on another unrelated site, doubled the content and then throttled the scraping they are allowed.

A few years ago I found that banning crawlers including google from previously expired domains which I got because of backlinks etc. and was redirecting elsewhere - such as adult related redirects - not only did not decrease the human traffic the domains were receiving, but even made it more stable in a long run. Maybe it was an isolated case. My best guess is that legitimate bots who suddenly learned that they are banned and no more allowed to enter simply elected to provide SE visitors with old results to previously developed sites. Not sure how it works in todays enviroment though.

The bot environment from like AWS is a remote server ghetto. In addition to banning the usual majestic, ahrefs, etc I blocked all their IP's out of Amazons cloud. The only bots to ad value are those that index and provide search rank. Majestic and others are spying tools as you know anyway, I dont mind using them for screening names but disallowing them on my sites. The scraping is really frustrating. Google used my curated humsn intelligence to rank their youtube videos. my goal is to reach 100,000 videos this new year. I need dedicated hosting to do it though, trying to figure that out.

It depends where your traffic is coming from. I would guess on a tube with 0.37 USD the traffic is from USA, UK or EU. The India traffic pays the lowest, as well as Turkey, Indonesia or Thailand.

@decades80 this one baffles me. Check out no video views, yet $0.17 payout. ? Even if the traffic is from the US with this low volume as well these are my top performing tubes for today only.

You dont Need any video views to get paid, because the pop unders are appearing when the users land on the Website.

Probably you put Tags "include all" try to put tags "include any" it works much better according to their support.

easyxsites then there a tonne of cam sites try freewhitelabel and linkwhitelabel

Hi, I've been reading a few of your posts on monetizing adult domains and you seem to know your stuff :xf.grin:
I'm thinking about giving easyxsites a try, was wondering how they compare to Hostedtube?

Also, I'm trying to start my own self-hosted tube using Wordpress, I've already bought hosting with Hostgator and I'm looking for a reliable script to automate the site. I've been Googling around and Mechbunny has some good reviews but it costs more than I would like to spend in this early stage. I'm also looking at Tubeace which is much more affordable but I'm a complete noob when it comes to scripts, do you have any recommendations? Thanks.

I have tube ace and would recommend you use that over sharing income but so much to mention that could write forever. I can just tell you what domains will succeed or fail in adult world rather than fruitless trials.

Hey thanks for your reply, I might give Tubeace a try, the license for 1 site is currently discounted to $59 :)
What about Hostedtube vs Easyxsites? which one do you prefer?

Out of Hostedtube and easyxsites i will have to say easyxsites as it is far more custom which you need for SEO. You have more control over content. Hosted tube looks better but if I have to chose one it would be easyxsites as you have more control of your sponsors. Nothing beats hosting own site but it gets expensive for dedicated hosting. My advice is go all out use your free site your tube to promote your paysite or whitelabel cams. Want real advice the money is in mainstream not adult if you choose do work on adult you need your own niche to make it in adult. It is about unique content and the bulk filler to give them extra. Adult webmasters work harder than other webmasters for their traffic.

@lock Thanks a lot for your advice, much appreciated! :)
I've got a fresh batch of adult domains that I haven't set up yet, I'll use them on easyxsites, since I can only use 1 domain for the self hosted tube.

And yeah you're definitely right about unique content being best but it's hard to get content not available elsewhere, the video scripts basically just grabs content from the top sites. I was thinking, I could create a unique niche, search the web and manually import/embed the videos everyday but that's going to be hard work. Still I might give it a try, we'll see. It's my first time trying out websites, if adult doesn't work out, I'll try something more mainstream. Thanks again!

@decades80 Well doing even better finally, thanks again for the referral here. I bought a bunch of sites and put them all up. @boziffous appreciate the contact info earlier in the thread. I skyped and got my questions answered.

I reconfirmed, once a domain has been removed it cannot be returned. Also, as previously stated, if you sell a domain name, the content/site can be transferred to the new owner. He said he has been doing this a long time, I had a decent chat very responsive.

The split is 50/50 with the traffic source he uses.

One concern was any sort of redirect from existing backlinks on domains with old sites, like the WP plugins 404 to homepage that passes the link juice, and there wasn't any he told me. I don't have any idea what long term consequences other than churn and burn backlinked domains.

So as far as revenue, I am fairly happy to report that I've made more in the past 30 days than all of last year. Still isn't a ton of money, but a start. I have never parked domains before with anybody, so not sure what lately any of you guys make in parking, any input would be appreciated.

Someone paid $xxx for a heavy backlinked recently dropped site, and went to see it and they have it sitting parked with 4 links of keywords, that's it. I wonder if it will pay off? The name was not that great too.

Unique IP's: 160,520 page views: 312,282 Video Views: 56,608 Revenue: $43.88

Really, I just read this now, thanks for the additional info all of you. I had no idea this thread was getting visits these past few days. I have all mine set by most to default settings of all and not tagging anything at all. I find the ones that I do tag with specific tag's get populated with less content or none at all on like one.

What about the nofollow versus follow selection on your other network of tubes? Which do you use?

The AWSempire have (2) domains with them had over 3500 visitors and not ONE purchase according to their stats, so losing my patience.
