I have an adult domain and Ive just signed for hostedtube .com few days back. Ihad 200 uniques per day and the revenue of 0.10 USD from parking. Ive decided to try hostedtube since you get indexed and dont forget about the returning visitors :) So the traffic is climbing for approx. 100 uniques per day and revenue each day for 0.02 USD up. I would just be grateful to know - if anybody is using them - how to add my sponsor ID on the sponsors page?Or at least reviews from others?

I've got a fresh batch of adult domains that I haven't set up yet, I'll use them on easyxsites, since I can only use 1 domain for the self hosted tube.

Did you try this yet? I have never looked at it. I went to see about a dedicated server but that seems like a royal pain to deal with, not sure. My traffic for 30 days surprised me, as I posted above. If I can make a few bucks above all the reg fee's first year I would be somewhat happy.

Yeah I set up a few domains on easyxsites over the weekend but they're still not online. Not sure what the problem is, I'll email support later.
The thing is Hostedtube's payout is lame at best, if you've got good enough domains/backlinks/traffic to be making $43/month on Hostedtube, you'd probably earn a lot more hosting your own tube as the ad companies would be paying you directly.
BTW how many domains earned you the $43?

I started with the existing 2 sites I had there a year. Lot's of hits no real earnings. So early December added daily quite a few, now have 70+ hosted and a number of others 301 pointing only to a specific similar domain. There is paltry payout on some of a penny a day, so that won't even make reg fee in a year. The 50/50 split with HT seems fair to me, except I just do not understand why some get better payouts than others.

Here is a part list sorted by revenue column. Notice the top one versus the rest.

Wow I wasn't expecting the $43 to be the combined earnings of that many domains. How do you plan on handling renewals at the end of the first year? Mind you, if this is the first month, the potential for your earnings to grow is definitely there. Are you actively promoting your sites via backlinks and social networks?

No promotion, I realize that the earning suck. I need to do that promotion, I will build them up with some fiverr promotion people perhaps. I don't use social media personally at all. The traffic is just backlinks I lost count of how many I have pointing to the 70 I have hosted.
Right now, this is an experiment. I don't care about renewals, this is a churn and burn operation.
I am finding that they all get indexed immediately, which is good. (3) criteria.

1. The ones that work great, will renew.
2. The ones that I like the names or are EMD which are a few, I will keep regardless.
3. The ones that are ugly, long, dashes, etc. and no resale value and I have used their backlinks up, drop.

I posted this elsewhere before on NP's, funny I originally read it a year ago and got the link from Search Engine Watch! of all places. But good AMA reading from a real guy, real success and not some blogger stooge. To rank he lays it all out and he is a straight up guy, he does not do adult domains, but the concepts are the same. Take 2 weeks to study this, you need to be careful though.

One more funny thing. You probably didn't read my comments to the .Top person. So I decided as a test, a few porn names I could buy for only $0.58 cents each on Dynadot. So registered as a test some blank hand reg's and even a few got a bit of traffic. No backlinks other than the ones I point to them. They will all be disposed probably at renewal.

Yeah that's pretty much what I'm doing too, experimenting. Just not with that many domains.
I registered 15 adult domains earlier this month and I have 1 year to try and make them work. If nothing comes of this little experiment, I'll simply drop them at the end of the first year.
I'll take my time to read through the thread you posted, thanks! :xf.smile:

I assume you know that you need existing links on those 15, if not send traffic by more 301’s you buy and gather. BTW Are they indexed? Site:domain.com on goo gle to check how many pages. Mine all vary. I got $10 only for all last year on 2, and only just a couple with traffic pointed to them. That was a failure. Let me know if the social media works out and if you get any traffic.

@Bean I am going to look into this with a heavy backlinked domain too: http://www. webcamwhitelabels. com/
The gfy forum, is on my todo list reviewing various things. I have 2 sites on aws like I said earlier on thread and no $$$.

Well I'm not taking into account the history of those domains, I'm assuming here that they have no links and are not indexed. I basically just want to see where I stand at the end of year, starting from scratch and expending minimal effort. I wrote off the money I spent on those domains even before I bought them. I will not be injecting any more money into this batch.
I plan on simply promoting them on Reddit, Twitter and Facebook (using brand new accounts created just for this project) whenever I find some free time and that's it. I'm already getting some hits without any promotion. If traffic growth is substantial by the end of the year, even if earnings are not great, I'll consider doing it more seriously next year.
The self-hosted tube is a separate experiment consisting of only 1 adult domain, I plan on spending a bit more time on that one.

That's what I did last year. Parked 2 there sent a few backlinks to them and did nothing else, but got nothing out of it. BTW: I read a good thread on GFY today about goo gle, various traffic sources, debates, etc.

@lock @decades80 @tonyk2000 @boziffous

Are any of you noticing revenue decline on hosted tube? At the first fews days of the year, I was making out well with a new domain I just registered that had some really good backlinks. Then noticed another domain starting to gather more traffic and revenue so bought up more and pointed them 301 to that domain.

Had some other issues and contacted the guy above mentioned. We chatted on skype, and all sounded good, now this particular domain that WAS paying $2-3 a day consistently, and I mentioned the success of this particular tube while we were talking, then a day or so later it's now down like today to $0.01, a long with a bunch of others. Yet has the same traffic stats. I asked him and he answered something like "It depends".

I don't use google analytics to verify so have no other data than what is presented in their dashboard.

The stats you showed @decades80 are what I thought I could achieve with buying up a ton of backlinked domains, and sure there is traffic but I just think something is amiss either with my 301 or 301, goo gle changing the algo first of the year or something.

I can't see staying here with this site if this remains like this with a penny a day or some with zero, yet have some traffic. Sure many of the expired trafficked domains I will drop and not renew, but at $1.00 a day with 70+ tube sites interlinked appears to be a real waste of my time to make a whole only a penny.

I also ignored the stats in my conclusion while noticed some heavy traffic spikes on a few domains which are not counted, from say 6 IP's. Evidently scraper bots were hitting the content and grabbing it. lol.

Any input would be appreciated.

Here is the same tube. 1-1-2018 to 1-15-2018 1st line, and 2nd line 1-16-2018 to 1-22-2018.

I have tube ace and would recommend you use that over sharing income but so much to mention that could write forever. I can just tell you what domains will succeed or fail in adult world rather than fruitless trials.
How does Free-Pornography.com sounds?

@decades80 Any input? This adult stuff while I have the traffic it seems does not pay enough imo. Finding lots of scraper traffic too- I mean unique IP"s say 100+ only visitors, with 10,000 views in a day between those same 100 ip's- seems like scraping, lots' of it. I have never parked domains, just wondering if it would be worth it or not to switch? I tried for a week taking and changing nameservers and redirecting all the additional high backlinked domains there to focus all into to just one, and that produced no measurable results.

I am finding this 1 penny a day on some domains to be sort of an insult really.
Here are my results the past 2 months, lot's of scraping so pageviews and videoviews are skewed.

$85.00, one tube with tons of backlinks produced $15, of it then after about a week, it somehow was demoted to nothing.

Making a total of $1.00 to $1.50 a day for 76 tubes does not make sense to me at least. You mentioned before that it would be less revenue than parking, and would prefer to leave it alone and let these all expire and just drop it than move them to parking if it's going to be equal.

Hi,

with your result, I would just Keep a couple of tubes max. 5 and simply leave them for a while. I believe you have too many for this kind of revenue. My results are good and I plan to keep all of my tubes on Hostedtube, in fact I plan to build a Network of more.

Thanks for the feedback. I appreciate your sharing the revenue post earlier, that's what motivated me to try this but after 2 months I don't see much change, as I thought increase in repeats or revenue. The majority get a penny a day, not worth it- but question is, should I park the other 70 instead? I tried changing the name servers back and redirecting them into the paying ones, but no increase really. You think I should park them or and Is that going to better? If it's only 2 cents a day, not going to bother, rather let them all stay and just expire.

BTW: Do you see your sites with excessive traffic and the videos being scraped also?
Thanks.

If I were you I would park them if there was no improvement over the last 2 months. On 1 of my hostedtube sites I see from time to time 188,000+ video views with 100 uniques only, so it must have been a bug.

And also check the pimproll statistics before you move away. Concerning your Traffic numbers you could get at least 1 premium subscription worth 30 USD on your hostedtube. These statistics are only seen in pimproll Account.

This system gets a lot of scraping bots, it's not my content and when I mentioned it the owner said "why do I care", when I asked him. lol. so far, this is the total. The page and video views are irrelevant as they are part of the scrape network I guess.

.
Here is just a 2 hours of data- 2 1/2 hours so traffic is non usa.
