Just my 2c:
- average RPC for parked adult domains, which are correctly marked by Google as such, may vary from 1c(ent) to 15c(ents) on different domains which fact I can hardly explain - the ads are pretty much the same, and so is country-visitors distribution
- Google does not show ads on adult domains for visitors from a number of countries, such as Gulf countries, China, South Korea (legal issues). Also Russia, Peru, and a few others (reasons unknown). Traffic from such visitors on any parked adult domain is lost (if it is google feed of course). One exception I am aware of is bodis as they send it to zero click, still showing google ads to served countries. WORKAROUND: set in-house TDS like above.com does, but with geoip, and do not send this part of traffic to a parking company. Send it somewhere else.
- It also makes sense to unpark and process differently domains with low final parking RPM. I consider anything below $2-$3 to be low RPM for this purpose.
- As for affiliate programs, I've seen good results with live cam websites and revshare model (some visitors may return and buy more minutes for years. I think I still see periodical income from somebody who originally signed up in 2008 using my domain forwarded to a revshare affiliate link).
- It makes sense to periodically check parked domains status - faillisted or not. Google may sometimes faillist adult domain which was already parked with them for years, and so it would become either zeroclick or any alternative feed provided by a parking company, or better send it to aff links
Of course all the above applies if total number of visitors @ adult domains is at least a few hunders per day, otherwise it makes little or no practical sense to setup anything else except default parking config
