Any way to get members ?

Im looking for a way to get members on my new forum called www.ddname.net

Can someone help me ?

The best way to reach a lot of people on NP is to use a "NP$ for clicks" campaign.
Members click on your ad to get NP$, usually between 50 cents in NP$ to 3.00. The directions are pretty clear. Here's the link: http://www.namepros.com/npvisitors.php

You can buy NP$ from the NP$ Store button (just above the banner ad at the top of the page) or click on other people's ads until you have enough NP$ for your own campaign. Here's the link for that: http://www.namepros.com/npclicks.php

There's no guarantee people will sign up, but it's a pretty inexpensive way to get people to see the sites for 20 seconds (that's required before the visitors are paid).

maybe you could offer incentives for people making afew posts, it usually drives them back if its a nice site, you just need to hang in there and it'll end up being popular, Love the skin too.

The hardest part of starting a forum is getting members, I feel your pain. Along with the other suggestions you might try posting in similar forums that allow a signature link. That will bring the visitors and if you have a unique idea hopefully some of those visitors will turn into members.

Maybe start a contest or prize for some activities or competition.
This will help to attract some new members if they are interest in it.

Hey - I actually know people who have created pretty busy forums by starting with "fake" member discussions. They would create their own members, ask and answer their own questions, even get into very heated discussions with ... themselves...
I am not sure if this is the best advice, but it's true and it worked for some of them! However, their key to success was starting threads so interesting, informative, and/or controversial, that visitors' attention and the will to participate would be captured as soon as anyone visited the site.

It's not an easy thing to develop a busy forum, but it's not impossible, so keep on trying! Good Luck!

There are also a lot of companies that offers visitors for almost no money. For example 1$ for 1000 visitors. that is also a possibility. But indeed there is no garantue that they sign up. I think indeed the best way is np incentive.

I've chosen to make a wordpress blog instead of a forum. I thought it would be more funier for me to make a blog where i can post, and people can read :p Instead of a forum where i post with myself.
