I submitted a set of domains but i don't know what the status is of these domains, if these are in the silent auction or not?
There is no live auction only a silent auction.

This is a very interesting auction as Poker.com is also being actioned if i remember correctly.

The master inventory list should have been released on the 18th of April so we should have received confirmation if domains made it to the cut or not?

I believe they'll be notifying people via email if you domains are accepted.

From a earlier post by Dagersh on 4/20/07 in the .mobi section:

Here's what my Moniker rep said in an e-mail a couple of days ago:

"As of yet, we have not yet finalized the domain list for the CAC auction however we are very close and hope to be done within the next week or two. When we have the list completed we will email all sellers with directions on where to review the domains that made the cut."

Sounds like they're cutting it kind of close to the auction itself, given the "week or two"...

I got an email from my Moniker rep, Don Lyons this morning. He stated "The decision on which domains will be going into the auction will be made next week."
It seems that this is one of those things with them, they like to keep you on your edge of your seat up until the auction... ;)

Thanks guys!
I have Don as my account rep as well but haven't received any updates from him though.
Is it just me or is the email support not anymore as it used to be? Which was top notch in my opinion.

Hi,

Moniker should have the courtesy and consideration to notify you
even if your domains have NOT been accepted.

Hi,

You are not alone.

I haven't been updated by Don either.

Moniker

Whatever Moniker is doing, it is surely not for our benefit. They must be making sure they are getting offers on a name before they are accepted. I wish I could sell the names I submitted to them, before the auction. This way I could them tell them, "Oh, I'm sorry, that name has been sold. You didn't notify about accepting, or rejecting my names, in a timely manner." I know it sounds like sour grapes, but it seems lately a lot of people like Moniker, GoDaddy,Registerfly, and DemandMedia are taking advantage of domainers. All a person has to do is read all the threads here at Namepros.com .
OK, :p , I;ll quit whining!

New Update:

Digital Angel, or "Marketa" from www.Moniker.com , says you can now check the domains accepted, but you need a "special password". You can email her for the password. I have mailed her, maybe we all should. It is all in this thread , from another forum:

Here is the response I got:

http://marketplacepro.moniker.com/auction/index.html

I believe you need to register.

Use password: monikercac07
(all lowercase, case sensitive)

Marc

Hmmm, sounds like a gimmick, "I believe you need to register." If anyone can figure out how the accpeted names, please post.

Thanks
Frank

Thanks!
I reviewed the list and unfortunately not any of my domains made it to the cut.

Good luck to anyone who did :tu:

Well I'm confused.. Some of my names are on the list (not that anyone informed me of this) but I didn't submit them to the casino affiliate auction and they have nothing to do with gambling.. I had submitted some names to the NYC auction in June and some of these ended up on the gambling list..

I dont think it ever makes sense. I was told by my rep she would email me if any of my names made it in....no email but about 7 made it in.....4 were left out that are WAYYYY better then some of the names on there..

Just hope the CAC and the people bidding are more then the amount of domain names :(

My Moniker rep said that more names are being added...it's still a work in progress, apparently.

In any case, I already have 12 names on it! :tu:

Has there been a new list released with the newly added domains?

Is that the same list as in post #8 above?
Since the URL is the same?

I received two e-mails today that I had to click on in order to verify ownership and verify permission for Moniker to list them. The e-mails both said Moniker "had received a request" to include the listed domains in the auction...and the link to verify details. One e-mail was for a single domain; the other email was for three.

All total, I have 16 domains listed out of around 100 I sent in. Most are pretty good, but, like others, I felt I had a few not chosen that were pretty darn good....better than some that were listed...and better than at least a quarter of the complete list, though nowhere near poker.com.

I'm quite surprised at the reserve prices of some domains selected; a few of the $xx,xxx listing were worth nowhere near that price...yet some of the $xxx were (imho) worth at least $xxxx.

All in all, this should be fun to see how the auction proceeds...and more

Hope they all sell...for scads more than the lowest reserve.

I got my authorization form today, and it had 14 names (out of about 70 that I submitted) in all. The 12 I knew for sure about already, plus the two I had thought were in there due to their being in the auction press release a couple of weeks ago.
