Any tips on how to use photoshop?

yes, those are the 2 best site for photoshop tutorials

but it doesnt hurt to just play around with a lot of the things...

making designs with filters is what most new ppl do... but make sure to download a lot of good brushes. (http://browse.deviantart.com/resources/applications/psbrushes/ is where most of the best brushes are)

i learnt photoshop by trial and error. Lots of new people start off playing with the filters, then making sigs using brushes then some carry on sigs, some do web design and other jsut do artwork.

Believe me baby any photoshop help site is not really going to help u right now , u must buy some good books to learn basics , my selection is all basic photoshop books by scott kelby , u can find them all at www.photoshopuser.com .

first try to play with all photoshop options, u will see that is not so diffcicult. for example resize option, or change color options, bright and contrast option, u can learn alone about this option.

after that, u can go to tutorials good luck

That's not true, there is no need to buy any books. You can learn through a combination of just fooling around and reading online.

not agry. anyway, you need some good book to make best images. without it the result will be poor. its a need of some book or lessons in Photoshop.
