I currently only know of expire.biz, which is great, cause they give you domains in easy one-domain-per-line txt format. But I think they don't have every domain name that is currently in expiring stage.

Do you know any other places that are similar?

1. Dynadot.com
2. Expireddomains.net - (good site)
3. Namejet.com
4. Snapnames.com
5. Godaddy.com
6. Freshdrop.net - (this covers a majority of the above & more)

So I went through all of them... and... for the purpose of education of others.

Dynadot - great, easy download of csv file, with all the domains for that day (should be the day after, but it's better then others).

Expireddomains - bad bad, only 2000 domains in csv, and only when logged in.

Namejet - good source, but not able to get the files automaticly (by robot process).

Snapnames - for "normal" people only max 500 domains per download (with session)... but even if you like me and you'll get all of theme, there is such a low number of them.

Freshdrop.net - totally bs. No download.

I agree, their ASPX site is crap - hate the javascript :]
But the download can be automated nonetheless.
Try this to get the list of pending-delete domains:
http://www.namejet.com/Download/5-14-2013.txt

In the example above you are downloading the list of domains that are deleting tomorrow. So you need to adjust the URL depending on the date desired.
In Linux the (bash) date format would be %m-%d-%Y.

Zip files are available for download...

Namejet, Scrapebox and aboutdomains some are good sites that provide the detail list of expired domain name.

Oh, this is great :) it kinda looks like a expire biz list, but it has about 10,000 more domains on it.

And those Zips are nice too. I can really use that, thanks very much. Kinda big though :D almost 200mb for the file of next 5 days. :D

Hmmmm..

I use the NameJet list of daily domains dropping, but for some reason lately, several of the days have not included any .coms... Does anyone know where I can download a list of *just* the names dropping on upcoming day/s? I don't want any info other than the actual domain name, as is given in the NameJet downloads.

TIA

i think .coms did in fact not drop for 1 or 2 days so there was nothing to include. i think namejet is fine. dynadot has a list so do snapnames and pool.

Expired domains.net has the best filtering options. Not sure why you had problems, but many people use them exclusively, myself included.

Also don't forget Pool.

expired domains is a good option to check expired domains but most of the domains are crap there which has little to nil resale value.

Solely because of the volume of names, you are right, most are crap. But not all and many people have found domains worth $XXXX there, on a regular basis. A pretty darn good margin for a $10 purchase. It just takes a lot of work to sort through the crap. But luckily they have the best search tools out there, so it makes the task pretty easy.
