.info Any .org/.info/.us transfers below $6.45 out there?

The best deal I can find for org/info transfers is $6.45 from internet.bs, although they don't mention .us.

I check Namepros.com and a number of other sites daily, but haven't seen anything better.

Has anyone seen any prices or deals better than that? Thanks.

Bobdigital, on the GoDaddy $1.49+.20 -- is there a coupon for that? On GD the $1.49 appears to be only for new domains, not transfers. Thanks.

I've not found any cupons for transfer to Namecheap this month, just new regs... Tried it for transfer myself, didn't work.

For .info and .us, the alternative is to use mydomain.com, they originals transfer price is $7.99 but you can use coupon code " htmli.info " (without "") to get 15% off which cost only $6.9

Thanks for the replies. Note my original query was for transfers, not new domains. Namecheap did have the TRANSCHEAP coupon earlier this month (and may still be working), but it was for .com and .net only, not .org or .info.

I'll look at stargate.com (which is a reseller club site). If they offer it, that would be below their cost.

And yes, internet.bs sounds like BS, but it works fine and has a $6.45 transfer. I've been looking for better, but that might be it.

stargate was an accredited registrar and was sold to uk2.net , a uk provider. I have around 100 domains with them, have a Problem some weeks ago and ditleb / eming, owner and member of wht, help to solve quickly. If any1 need i can send via pm some domains to check the whois.

Well I looked into the Stargate AKA UK2.net and US2.net. They are an affiliate of Reseller Club. Nothing wrong with that except the low price is somewhat deceptive as they don't offer DNS in the package (or even domain forwarding), instead charging another $1.00/year for the ability to set your own DNS. Sure you can set the nameservers elsewhere, but in the end, the $0.50 savings might not be worth it. Compared to others, Reseller Club has a fairly convoluted user interface.

That's right. There are other independent ICANN accreditted registrars that use, what you call the Resellerclub interface, actually it's called the MyOrderBox interface, but yes, it is provided by Resellerclub's company (Directi) like http://elb.com/ ... ... ...
