.mobi Any News on Proposed .mobi ext ?

Googled and searched news stories, and was unable to come up w/ any new developments concerning .mobi. Anyone hear anything? Do you think the working name ".mobi" will be what they land on should ICANN approve it?

I haven't heard anything either... although everytime I hear .mobi I think of a certain techno recording artist!
