Any news on this proposed sTLD?
I've Googled off and on for past few mos and the most pertinent info I have gotten is the ICANN pg:

I have a few good "mobi" names hanging around, wondering about this, also.

Nice one, .net. My better ones are probably also .nets, which works here, w/ (proposed), ext, being tech/net related. I have these .nets: mobicellular.net, mobimusic.net, mobisales.net and mobione.net, (not sure about possibleTM probs). Also have mobidirectory.com, mobiescort.com, and mobiexchange.com, but not sure about how strong they might be.

It is ironic that the best gateway to .mobi services on the net will probably, at least initially, be through .com and .net. Am hoping that the new ext will popularize "mobi" and that it becomes as commonly used as mobile.

I wouldn't be surprised to see ICANN approve their secondary TLD proposal and issue .mbl insead of .mobi just to trip people up, if they even approve at all.

Yes, I'm sure most of us w/ "mobi" names have considered this possibility, but have speculated, nevertheless.
If they go w/ ".mbl insead of .mobi just to trip people up", than the domain name market has more power than I have credited it with. :tu:
